1. Oral Presentation
Oral presentations showcase new research, applied work, or tools in the Stan ecosystem, probabilistic programming, or Bayesian inference. Presenters give a focused talk followed by time for questions and discussion. This format is ideal for communicating key insights to the whole audience.
2. Poster Presentation
Poster presentations provide an informal setting to share work, spark conversations, and get detailed feedback. Participants can engage directly with authors during dedicated poster sessions. This format encourages in-depth technical exchange at an approachable pace.
3. Tutorial
Tutorials provide hands-on learning experiences to help attendees build practical skills in Stan, probabilistic programming languages, and probabilistic modelling. Instructors guide participants through structured examples, code, and workflows. Tutorials are designed to be accessible while still valuable for users at varying levels.
4. Workshop
Workshops are three-hour, contributor-led mini-conferences that explore focused topics in Stan, probabilistic programming, or related methods. Organisers curate their own program of talks, discussions, and activities. This new format empowers the community to shape the meeting by diving deep into emerging areas and shared interests.
